Title: Gain Speed easily - a trick for the DEVs!!! Why no 50hz/PAL?
Post by: dex on September 21, 2006, 08:32:12 AM
I recently tried this FABULOUS Amiga emulator in version 54 and started up Gods and guess what - YOU MADE IT RUN AT 60 hz???? Why´s that?? NTSC? Well, EVERY game I tried runs exactly 10 frames to FAST - thus the sound plays TOO fast AND the emulator has to do MORE work to keep up at 60 fps - PLEASE do everyone the favour and add 50hz (or PAL) to the options - this is a MUST - noone would every play any Amiga game at 60fps on the PSP which would be just wrong - 50fps is fully fluid (your eye won´t recognize a difference) AND the sound is correct AND the emu would have to do less work - PLEASE!!!! This is BY FAR the best emulator for PSP and I just had to register to say that - just do this little trick, it will do wonders :)

Thank You VERY much in advance!

It runs in PAL by default, I have already asked if there is a way to get to stay at 50 FPS. I have tried the NTSC option and it makes no difference at all. As there is no PAL option, It on the to do list for the emu.

Also, have you tried 0.55?

Thanks for the input.

yeah, you can tell its running PAL @ 60hz (or even above) becasue if you specify NTSC ons say WHDLoad, it refuses to load it.

FPS limiter is on the "to do" list anyway isnt it?
