Title: 2.71 Firmware
Post by: brcu on September 26, 2006, 09:55:36 PM
With the recent release of devhook for 2.71 and its apparent abilty to run homebrew, i was wondering what would be the point of upgrading from 1.5 ?

Or is it only really important for those who dont want to downgrade to 1.5 ?

From what i've read i'm sticking with 1.5

What do you guys think ?

I've been busy planning a trip to New Zealand; I finish work in a few weeks (totally sick of the place!) then with my girlfriend were off for an indulgent few months in the southern hemisphere. I will be spreading the work of PSPUAE and PSPectrum to all the kiwis i meet!

Good point about the TA-thingy, as long as i dont need to upgrade i wont.

Horace is right, plus it dont let you run homebrew, it lets you emulate V1.50 so that can run homebrew, id stick to V1.50. I dont think, ill never upgrade, as I use my PSP more for Homebrew than games. Rather have a Fully Portable Amiga, in my pocket, ;)
