Hey
Seem to have a bit of a problem with HD disks, whenever i have loaded the Ram Savestate options, and then set the correct Kickrom, reset the amiga, and then put the disk in, it completly freezes and i ahve to turn the PSP off to reset it.
I have created the HD disks in WinUAE.

first, are you setting the PSPUAE DF0 and DF1 to HD?
Second, you can only use 2 megs Fast, 2 Megs Chip and 1 Megs Slow. TOTAL of 5 Megs.
Sorry, should have mentioned that before, ;).
-
can you not do 1 chip 4 fast? i know i've used this combo, but i havent checked it with HD disks
-
just checked
FastMem: 2048
Chipmem: 2048
BogoMem: 1024
Floppy Speed: Turbo
DF0 Disk Type: 3.5HD
DF1 Disk Type: 3.5HD
Still Freezes, might be me who's doing something wrong

hmmmm, can you try the config file that comes with latest release, thats what I use, and its fine. Also try to let the emu reset, before inserting a floppy
-
and of course, make sure it's after a fresh start of pspuae (i guess it would be anyway, after a crash n all?)
i'm sure i've used this "FOL combo" before ok too. curious.
-
I'm also quite stumped here
Might be something wrong with my ADF disk.
it was created through WinUAE and formated through ClassicWB
then the files where copied to it via DirectoryOpus, altered the startup-Sequence,
then ran install on it.

EBIL, lol, make work for yourself, I use a freshly installed WorkBench 3.1 and drag and drop the lzh files to HD Floppy. then make my startup-sequence etc etc. Much quicker and easier, ;). 3.1 is an awsome OS.

the error you are getting though sounds like the classic "out of memory" error that seems to happen on pspuae though....
there should be no need to format the disk... just create a pre-formatted disk with winUAE.... i guess that may depend on what version you are using?
i am using the latest one, 1.3.3 - but its a tad unstable at times. Workbench stuff seems to be most reliable with normal floppy speed and JIT on.
i also do as FOL does, and copy generic files from one folder, (startup, whdload etc) and then just drop in my LHA files.... all i need do then is tell the startup-sequence the name (or number) of files to unpack, and the name of the WHDLoad slave.

I have a template folder too :)
Was just describing a very thourough way. i was trying to do this.
I'm also using the latest WinUAE, but i was trying out different possibilties for errors on my end.
i'll continue to try some more things.
