Title: SWOS Buttons on PSPUAE
Post by: ajeastwo on January 30, 2007, 06:44:29 PM
Apologies if a) this has been asked before and b) if it's in the wrong section.

I have set up SWOS as per the instructions in another thread and it works great. However, when i put any curl on the ball it makes the ball go high as if i'm pulling back.
I have tried to map the buttons to be the keyboard instead in a way of getting around the issue, but as you can't map right ctrl I couldn't play the matches.

Has anyone else noticed this/found a workaround.
It's too hard to score without being able to curl the ball.

Well, Hungry Horace is the SWOS nut, so im sure he will have an answer for you, ;). He playes it 24/7, he also runs the Amiga Online (http://amigaonline.pspuae.com) site.
That site is dedicated to his WinUAE Killera packages for playing amiga games online, you could head over to there, im sure he can help further, or you can wait for him to reply here.

If you head over to amigaonline, you might catch him the chat room (you have to be registered to see chat room).

i play swos on the analogue nub, and to curl i just push left or right, never had any problems with it playing the ball high instead.... swos buttons are only directions and fire, so you can always map joy2 left / right to L / R shoulders as well or something!
