:-[ Well i know this site and everything has been pretty inactive over the last year. I've taken up a new full time job and I dont quite have the time for all the projects i'd like to work on.
:sly: however.... there is a plan afoot.
:roses: skateblind has expressed an interest in following-up on beta fixes / pack cleanups and testing.... I'd like to leave him in charge of this side of things, but I hope it is not all empty promises.
:guru: I, on the other hand, have started using Visual Basic at work. In order to improve my skills, learn some things, and do something (i consider) fun, i'm going to build a GUI for the packs. It may mean a bit of a restructure, but I think i should be able to do something pretty cool.
:rip: Sadly, Winuae-Kaillera was official discontinued back in March last year, ( http://kaillera.abime.net/ ) and this really did act as a bitter dampener on me, and my commitment to this project.... still - where there's a will, there's a way.
:rampage: and in other news, there is more spam than ever appearing on this site. If i cant get this cured, i may have to resort to banning all gmail accounts.

Wow, you know how to make someone feel good... ;)
Promises shall be kept, like playing BW with me in the future

er.... 3 months have gone by now ;)
The VB-based GUI is coming along excellently but slowly. I suspect there will be a version along within a week or so to try out.... after which, it should just be a case of creating new gamepacks to add to it. some will need changing to allow for the usage of the new SAVEDIR= option of WHDload.

Very true, I am ashamed. I have been testing some here and there, but have not made any yet. I am still on the case though, see you in 3 months. :king:

I finally have a screenshot of the Amiga Online GUI i am working on....

right....
so i have a working structure for the GUI (still some tweeks needed, but not much)
I am now in the process of re-creating the GamePacks in suitable fashion for it.
001 - Bloodwych & Extended Levels , is done... and looks better than ever, working with lots of extra parts and nicely saving to the ADF.
i think, for the majority of games however, i will need to work on a new (Amiga-side) FrontEnd, which allows one to set everything up from within a config file. Accounting for such aspects as the new "SAVEPATH=" function in whdload 16.9 (SAVEDIR= actually isnt that useful to us) is something that really needs doing.
once thats done it would be nice to get some help remaking the packs. ::) i guess when i have 50 or so, that should be enough to get the ball-rolling again.
Also, i plan on removing all the "zero post" people from the site.... although i will be issuing out a warning before doing that!

Very good news Horace
