Title: It's a Knockout 2009/10
Post by: mihcael on November 22, 2009, 05:33:19 AM: Anyone looking for a bit of friendly competition have a look at It's a Knockout 2009/10 (http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=492853&postcount=4).

It is currently in the voting phase, with competition ot begin next week!

The comp is run by the forum members of Lemon Amiga and English Amiga Board and is open to any and all! :D The comp is returning after its popular debut last year as a sister competition to the year long Lemon vs EAB Super League.

All competitors must be a member at either Lemon (http://www.lemonamiga.com/forum/index.php) or EAB (http://eab.abime.net/index.php), so if you're not already, it's time to join! ;)

Quarter Finals: All Terrain Racing
Semi Finals:Rodland

Exactly the same here for top-down racing games (no offense skatey ;D). Ah well, after we're out we can still bitch about the other players and games ;)

I will donate $5 to this site (or pspuae or wherever it goes) for every UA member that joins the comp and beats my score in the qualifying round of Its A Knockout Slam Tilt!!

Post by: Bloodwych on December 14, 2009, 05:54:18 PM: Great idea, but I'll give it a miss for one reason - there are always a few obsessive people that spend hours playing and post ever increasing scores or a mega large one meaning that I then have to get obsessive over their score as a benchmark and obsessively play the game to beat it leading to a huge amount of time obsessively gaming whilst getting high stress levels.

Does anyone know what I mean? :D
