Hi,
I've just installed PSPUAE-063BE on my 3.04 OE-A PSP but can't get a ROM loading. It comes up Amiga "hand holding a disk" image and I press select, load the .zip ROM and go to reset amiga, then it just goes back to the Amiga "hand holding a disk" image?
Can anybody shed some light? I'm not sure I'm using the correct Kick rom things. I have kick.rom, kick13.rom and kick30.rom in the G:\PSP\GAME\__SCE__PSPUAE\KICKS folder - is this correct?
Thanks!

I think it's just the ROM, please can someone test the attached?
Thanks.
EDIT: I've uploaded the ROM now: http://www.lotechdesigns.com/alien/PSP%20Games/indyheat.zip (http://www.lotechdesigns.com/alien/PSP%20Games/indyheat.zip)

Ermmm, thats not an amiga game/rom, did you look in the zip? There isnt an ADF in there.
As stated in the readme and help links on main page. You have to have an adf file in the zip.
So, if i downloaded IndyHeat, i would download something like this;
Indyheat.zip, contents being IndyHeat.adf <-- This is the universal format for Amiga Floppy Images. This would work, or i could just unzip it, and load the IndyHeat.adf direct.
EDIT:- as your registered, you could use the savestates, FOUND HERE (http://pspuae.condor.serverpro3.com/index.php?action=tpmod;dl), under I, you will find indyheat. If you need more info on what R.I.S.S states are, then CLICK HERE (http://pspuae.condor.serverpro3.com/index.php/topic,401.0.html)
EDIT2:- Just looked where you got it from, they dont have Commodore Amiga Games.

Ahh, cool :)
I got it working now, thanks a lot.
Only problem is it seems a bit "jerky" - certainly not as smooth as my PC Amiga emu, any ideas?

lol, your new to PSPUAE, ;). Did you read the release thread, ;).
Best thing to do, is alter the CPU SPEED to CHIPSET 50% and keep increasing til its best it can be. Only problem with CHIPSET speed, is some games, the gfx onscreen slow, when using 85% up to 100%.

lol, yes I am. And no I didn't ::) Where is it?
Thanks for the tip, I'll have a go at adjusting the CPU SPEED. The thing is, my brother has a LOT of .adf's on his PC so I'm going to copy them, but will adjusting the CPU SPEED effect these at all?

on the front page where it sats "LATEST RELEASE: 0.63"

you need to set the amiga hardware setting to CPU TYPE=Chipset (it defaults to "max") and then you are allowed to adjust the chipset-cpu ratio (to which FOL is referring)

yes. results will vary. massively.
