Whats your kernel set to?

Also, if you have config1 in your configs folder try removing that

Where can i see whats my kernel set to?
I have no config file installed.

Is it possible that it desn't works because i've installt the slim version on a normal PSP? But the birthday version with the two folders didn't work at all.

Sorry misread your post.

Its not a problem, slim version is phat version, just packaged to make it simple to setup on slim.
Have you got the KickStart.rom? file which is needed to use the emulator.

It desn't matter if the kernel is set to 1.50 or 3.80.
I got a 3.1 rom, i just named it kick13.rom that the emulater starts up. I see the diskdrive and the animated disk. But if i press select nothing happens. If i press R+L+select the screen gets small, as it has to be.

Ah, you need Kick1.3, thats why its crashing. As it defaults to AutoZoom, it crashes with Kick3.1 (named as 1.3). If you use kick1.3, then it will work fine. Thats why I told it to check on reset, but as your not resetting it will crash.

i've tried a 1.3 kickrom but it dosen't work too. It does NOT crash. I just can't open the optins menu by pressing select. I can zoom, i can change the frameskip and so on, but i just cant open the optins menu, so i cant insert a disk file :(
Is there an other way to insert and change disk-files?

No, note sure whats going on there. What kickroms are you using, are they Oversized? like the Amiga Forever Kickroms?

You definately dont have any config files in the PSPUAE/CONFIGS/ folder?

As Anemos reported, he has members at his site using the same files and all working fine.

No, but I have sent you a PM.

EDIT:- Another you could try is deleting the pics from the GUI folder.

Well it doesn't have anything to do with the kickrom.

Yes, it can.

Having a 1.options file in the CONFIGS folder will override PSPUAE's default config.

Well if it aint working with my uae, then its deffo not PSPUAE causing problem or config files.

Have altered anything in recovery mode?

I dont use a config file.

I want to try to start an .adf or r.i.s.s file directly after starting uae, so that i don't need to enter the options menu. Maybe i can use uae on this way.

Thats simple, download any state (R.I.S.S.) from downloads section, then rename config file to 1.options, when you load it should override. the only problem is though, you need the menu, to load state, :(.

Never had anyone have this problem before, must be your end, :(. Try renaming the other option files to pspuae1.options, and try them 1 at a time.

Also, i notice on your profile (next to your posts), it says tiff loader? Are you using tiff eloader to run it?

I didn't exactly know what was meant with this, and i used the tiff eloader to downgrate the firmware, so i've chosen tiff eloader. But now i don't need the tiff eloader anymore because i've customfirmware 3.80 M33-5.

Have you updated to 3.90 M33 yet?

PSPUAE works fine with 3.90 M33 and 3.80 for me anyway.

Lmao, I thought it was an odd problem, :).

Dont buy a new faceplate / buttons, simply get an old tooth brush and clean the dirt buildup, in the gaps from the buttons .

I see problems like this alot in my job, cleaning as I said normally solves the problem. If it doesnt, then might need to be taken apart and cleaned.

It looked more like shortcircuit and an other button/switch wasn't well too.
I finally got my new switches and everything works fine now.
Thanks for the help!
