Title: help with save states
Post by: razor38 on February 27, 2008, 06:02:39 PM
Hey there
I'm having real problems getting a save state to run.
I'm used to the whole adf loading but I've never looked into save states
I've been trying for a while tonight and I cannot get it to work
i'm trying turrican 2, Ik+ and it came from the desert, running latest PSPUAE 0.70
When I try to load a save state, the emulator runs then gurus immediately. If I let it reset itself by pressing left mouse button, I can get it to load It came from the desert but after loadgame/new game request the game freezes and then psp shuts off.
For turrican, the save state will not run at all. It sits on on full red screen and then switches psp off
Am i doing something wrong? Do I have to put the save states in special location? do I have to configure the emulator first?
Ik+ loads to Ik symbol but then crashes. this is the case with both save state and adf. Cannot get this game to run at all
Can anyone help ?
thanks

IK+ is broken on 0.70 afaik - adf and riss.

almost everything else is ok though. try "double loading" the state (load it again, immediately after you have loaded it) , i assume you have kick3.0 or it would crash even quicker.

other than that, read the guide on the front page, in case there are any tips i've forgotten atm.
