with a little help from Horace, we discovered that dungeon master Amiga can be run via the keyboard.
I'm presently trying to work on a keymapping config to make the game much better to control.
the game runs fine on 0.70b as the video shows
http://www.youtube.com/user/talos281268
the direction buttons on the PSP dont work when set to keys to enable forward, left, right, backward.
(not sure why, because they should do according to this picture)

I have mapped the following so far. (bearing in mind direction buttons on PSP cant be used)
Analogue stick: Mouse (used to move hand cursor in game)
Start: right mouse (used to access characters inventory, access sleep and game save, return to First person view.
Left shoulder: np_4 (used to step left whilst remaining looking forward) (not used to often)
Right shoulder: np_6 (used to step right whilst remaining looking forward) (not used to often)
Triangle Button: np_8 (used to step forward) (used often)
Square Button: del (used to turn left 45 degrees) (used often)
Circle Button: help (used to turn right 45 degrees) (used often)
Cross Button: Left mouse button (used in sync with analogue mouse to activate switches, doors, spell selection
and combat)
the backwards step isn't mapped, it's not really required as long as you use the turn left/right 45 degrees then forward buttons.
you can always save your progress by using the savestate option in PSPUAE.
thanks horace for pointing me towards keyboard controls! :-*

forget all that! found something much better, really good!
Analogue = mouse (controls hand cursor)
Direction buttons = keys
start = screenshot
Square = left mouse button
Triangle = ESC (freeze game)
Cross = F1 (same as right mouse button really)
Circle = Right mouse
Left shoulder button = NP_7 (turn left 45 degrees)
Right shoulder button =NP_9 (turn right 45 degrees)
Up = NP_8 (forward step)
Down = NP_5 (backwards step)
Left = NP_4 (sidestep left)
Right = NP_6 (sidestep right)
Best to display as below:
Frameskip = 33
zoom = 34%
Aspect ratio = 4:3
Auto zoom = off
Screen lock = on
as good as it gets! :)

LOL, so this is like a config, like with Horace's Bloodwych 1?

Yes FOL, the config makes things much more playable than using the analogue mouse to move, movement is purely button pressing now (although the option to use analogue mouse is still there) spell selection and opening doors, picking things up are still controlled through the mouse (still a tad twiddly :'( )
its rather good to play!

off-topic thread content (guilty of myself) and baiting removed.
not good for the forum. If anyone feels otherwise, take it up with me in chat.

I have posted a video showing the new keymapping in operation, its much more playable now and should suit those old dungeon hackers of the eighties! (yeah me included!)
Unfortunately I was caught out entertaining the group of mummies, when some blueberry men appeared on the scene, got me scuttling around and massacred my party! watch in horror, as delta resorts to throwing his dead parties members bones and helmets to try and survive! hilarious! :'(
