Title: PUAE: The New Amiga Emulator for Unix-like platforms
Post by: Hungry Horace on May 22, 2010, 12:27:06 PM
Former PSPUAE developer GnoStiC has been working on and new Amiga emulator by the name of 'PUAE'

To paraphrase GnoStiC;

PUAE tries to continue where E-UAE left off, by combining Richard Drummond's E-UAE 0.8.29 with the latest updates from WinUAE 2.X.X, and bringing regular UAE updates to Unix-based platforms.

PUAE versioning is based on the merged WinUAE version.

Although feedback is generally taking place elsewhere, if enough interested is generated, perhaps we can ask GnosTiC to return here, to his spiritual home :)

With thanks to Steven 'xaind' Saunders there is an early OSX/Intel Binary available to try.

You will be able to find regular updates / binaries for PUAE here
The Ultimate Amiga PUAE Page (http://pspuae.condor.serverpro3.com/index.php/page,13.html) as-and-when they become available. You can also find this linked to on the front page.

If anyone would like to contribute any compiled binaries (PPC Mac, Linux systems etc) please let us know.

It doesn't seem to work under Leopard.  What is the minimum OS version for that binary?
