Title: I have an idea...
Post by: Kazukishi on November 02, 2010, 07:15:56 PM
Well hello there guys,it's my first topic and also a first post...I want to share my idea with all of you (of course i don't know if you've already thinked about it)...
So it goes about PSPUAE , is there any way to emulate Hard Drive in it or something?
Because i've just discovered that some games launched by workbench are working a lot faster even with music( Lost Dutchman Mine, Alfred Chicken etc..) of course i copied the game from disk onto workbench screen or to this "RAM disk",but still after soft reset game is not in these directories(i though emulator would read "free space" in my memory stick as hard drive,or something like that...).
So anyone has any ideas how to make my idea to work for other games?

Dragging stuff to ramdisk is exactly the same as what we do with RISS.

Its impossible that loading a Workbench ADF and then dragging a game to ram will make it run faster.

To be honest, I just dont have the time like I used to.

I have been looking into a different compiler, plus I need to get setup again, as I need some dump logs from finding HDD problem.
As for speed, again need help with ASM core. I cant believe, not one person can help in all the people that visit site.

Oh your still joking, ;).

Been there done that, no one is interested.
I have been talking to Toni Wilen, but thats on hold until I can setup toolchain again.
Would like to get HDD working.

Thing I most want it, is adding ASM Core to current PSPUAE release.
