right you are Horace, here's the post: People, start saving money, the new PSP2 / NGP is coming! ;D ;D ;D
Specs look cool, quad core main processor, quad core GPU, 2 cameras, gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, dual analog stick, touchscreen, quad resolution, 3G mobile connection, android based etc. But best thing is it has an extra touchpad on the back, same size as the screen, so you dont have to mess with your fingers on the screen!
Looks like this is a big leap user-interface wise, i bet we'll see some crazy games with all these possibilities. And lets hope someone finds a way to run homebrew on it, would be a shame not to use such power for fine amiga emulators... I definitely will get one.

didnt geohot already joke that the PSP2 would be next on his hitlist? (and if he survives the Sony lawsuit that will surely happen!)
I am usually not one to buy hardware until it has been out for a while, but this... hmm!
-
WOW!!!!!
I want one. Lets hope sony stick to the spec and price it reasonable.
Just think, full speed PSPUAE (If its hackable).
-
This is my dream console, and that's not even considering that it IS hackable.
I would love to see full-speed AGA on this.

If they stick to the original specs of Qaud core CPU and GPU, then this will be a reality.
-
Probably here,in Poland ,it's going to cost more than PS3...probably...
But yeah it looks awesome, and these touch screens and other accessories,i think 3DS or w/e it's called can suck balls now.

lol u were talking that u cant get asm core wroking and u wanna full speed on quad cpu ?? i dont understand u :-\

Not sure I understand?
Knowing ASM and porting are completely 2 different things.
Taking the current PSPUAE with a decent speed CPU and it will run full speed.
In the mean time I have been looking at Gnostics Optimised Blitter code.
-
And what this Blitter Code can possibly help with?I'm just curious :D
Yeah,NGP+hack+"NGPUAE"=win.
Then we'll be able to play our favourite games running with full speed and loud sound everywhere,it's like a dream.

Well just going on what I can see here.
What I can see in the code, is that it works by looking at each pixel.
It then only changes pixels it needs to. Therefore speeding things up.

why u dont continue work of uae4all ?? its MUUUUCH faster ??

The only advantage it has is, sound is better.

looks like there will be a semi-public acess to a devkit for the PS Vita: Sony has started a public beta program. FOL maybe you feel like registering ;)
the beta-program is here
http://www.playstation.com/pss/closedbeta/index_e.html (http://www.playstation.com/pss/closedbeta/index_e.html)
and here some more info.

hehe "the sdk that will save playstation"- maybe that's true. With an official public sdk, there will be so much more content for such an amazing machine. And that will be important, as there are thousands of apps for iphone, android and so on...

Interesting, but I have very little time, :(.
Dealing with Amiga's in real life (for my job) is very time consuming.
