Lmao, nice feature request. Nothing as tranquil as the annoying clicking every 2 seconds of the Floppy drive, ;)
-
Well it bring back memories. i like it.
What is the best configuration by the way? the default? ive notice that it is slower than 0.41. can you tell what are the changes?
-
i wouldnt say it was slower... sometimes the same, sometimes better (swos seems improved)
settings.... minimum i can get away with that will boot the game!
usually kick 1.3 and 1 meg.... 3-4 frameskip.... and for a lot of games no sound! (agggh!!)
my requests would be HDF support (a600 emu) and enough memory emulation to load swos whdload!!
-
Hungry Horace you know of course what hdd support means, installing the latest updates 05/06 of swos :D :D
I think this is far away from now
(im playing Yo joe now, i think its a little slower and i notice that the loading time took a while)

HDF emulation, this is whatIwant, loading should be faster then, but cant the Floppy speed Emu beset to 100%, as in WinUAE i aint found agame that doesnt work with that floppy setting. Then it will be running the floppy as fast as it can, like a HD.
-
i think you mean 800% ? ;)
hmmm.. i have had problems, usually with things that use custom-adfs.... save-disks etc.
also noticed that when emulationg my Action Replay III cartridge you *have* to leave disk-speed on 100% - nothing else - or it returns read errors.

So your point is, ;). I dont mess around with ActioReplay (as the old game logo state, "winners dont take drugs"), lol, never cheated on any game. I did however use mine for ripping mods and meds, ahhhh fun days, ;)
-
hey, AR-III isnt just about cheating!!
ripping graphics, tearing games apart (like updating SWOS, or editting Bloodwych dungeons!), nicking sound-effects, ripping modules.... all sorts!
if it werent for that little bugger then "Hex" to me would just be a character in a few doctor who audios.... and not a numeric system!!
*ahem* - geek-out! 8)

LOL, try Bloodwychs classic os, the hex editor on that has the same feel to it. Thats how I got my CD3 compilation working, just hexed the executes and redirected them to the games folder or assigned to adevice. MY compilation is purely CD32 Games, not mixed.
-
ok, now as if *that* inst gonna cause confusion!!
i talk about Bloodwych the game, and in your next post you talk about Bloodwych - the guy named after the game!
i dont tend to use pre-made setups, since my main one on uae is just a clone of my real a1200.... and the os3.9 one i have i rarely ever use.
Newzap is my prefered amiga hex-editor, although i need the AR-iii on if i want to edit a game whilst its still playing! (make a few pillars appears, change a door round etc etc!) - be that on the real a500 or on uae.
on the PC i use this thing called.. .err.... (checks)... HackMan - i need it to make my Kaillera-Online-packages.

And something else, when we are on the last option in a screen i would like to press down and go to the first option (i dont know if you understand what i mean)

If your talking about the MENU, try thr top left Trigger for fast Upward and right Trigger for fast Downward.

hi
full screen , please, this is very important

It has a zoom feature already. set it to 33%

I would really like to have the ability to select roms from different folders (so i can have both versions of pspuae)
-
i asssume you mean Roms as in Kickstart Roms, AND adf files (which should never be called roms!!)
not a bad idea really.... but only because of the IK+ bug!
-
not only for that. yo joe is better on 1.41 :) Except if im not using the correct settings. if you managed to play it with good speed please let me know
-
When this emulator gets fast enough to use audio-progs like AHX- and PRO-Tracker, we will definitly hunger for a better keyboard solution.
I havenĀ“t got any besides from attaching a USB-keyboard to the PSP, but since the PSP only acts as USB-client I guess this is impossible...
Any Ideas?

Yes but it's not exactly fullscreen.
And screen is not centered, so you crop the top or bottom.

Its good enough for now, speed is the main focus, I could live with a smaller screen if the speed is perfect

Any chance of an explaination/readme of what each setting actually does in the emu?
Some are straight forward but I've no idea what the likes of CPU Compatible, Collision Mode and Bogomem Size do.

I can do, once my modem starts working again at home.

No big rush, as and when you can spare the time.

This may be possable in the near future if the E-UAE source includes this in their next update.
Nearly all features mentioned have been now added and an explanation of options to the Readme. Thread Locked.
