Post by: rednova on September 02, 2007, 09:20:06 PM
Hi:

I think there used to be an adventure game creator, -grac? or something? that let you make adventure games kinda like indy jones and the fate of atlantis. Does anyone know? was it any good? what do you think about it? was not it made in amos?

I have the GRaphic Adventure Creator.  It was written in Amos.  I got the registered version on my F1 Licenseware CDRom.  It has a few bugs in that it can only scroll the screen vertically but not horizontally.  You also have to define "walk zones" as invisible polygons on your image so the characters can walk around objects intelligently.  It does the job though.

Hi:

I never had f1-licenseware cd (though I always wanted to buy it). Today I have the money to buy it though!!! What is your advice: is it worth getting it? or not?
On software hut they have the f1 cd for us$ 39.
Will it be worth it?

I guess it depends on how much you use it.  Between GRAC and the AMOSZines and Amos supplements on there, it might be worth it to you.  There are also some good games made with Amos or Blitz on there as well.

My opinion is that it was worth that much when the disk originally came out but probably not worth as much now.  Still, considering how much you use AmosPro, it might be worth it to you.
