Title: help searching old amos user
Post by: erico on May 28, 2008, 06:20:58 AM
Hello everyone.

I was looking into my code for the game BATRAQUIOS ME MORDAM, a game yet to be posted/released although it
dates from around 1998. Thing is, I was going through the materials including sketches and the likes and found an image I once had a friend from old AMOS FACTORY do for me. His name was Leto and I long lost our emails.

Now since the game is kind of complete but has no FRONT END, I was looking into implementing a cover at
least and I'm planning to use this long lost image he did for me long time ago.

he may had an adventure like king's quest going at the time I guess.
Does it happen to be anyone around here?
Here goes the image.
It will just be a bit hard to place it on the game since I don't code amos for ages, but it will be worth a try.

It's more like a remake of FROGS AND FLIES, an atari 2600 or intelevision game, it can be seen here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frogs_and_Flies
Now mine in more like FROGS meets plataformers.
You play a frog and you have to eat all flies in a level to advance, there are around 27 levels, 7 enemy types, 2 bosses.
It was originally made to have 4 players simultaneous play, but I only implemented 2 players.
Anyway the game is complete except for front end and the likes.
The frogs also interact with each other so while eating the flies and avoiding hazzars you still can battle your friend.
It is quite fun for me even nowadays and this is a good game candidate for me to remake on something like dark basic. Here goes a few screenshoots so you can get an idea, I'm particularly proud of the background hehe.
