Hello everyone.
I am new around here and have recently just got back into AMOS after many years away.
I am working on something (see the demo attachment - .lha) but I am stuck on creating AGA hardware sprites.
If anyone has any source code or could point me in the right direction as to how to display AGA hardware sprites then it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance, KevG.

Not possible using the Amos instructions, you mean. If you use the Graphics Call function and pass parameters in the Dreg and Areg instructions, you can access the AGA chipset the same way as C does. It is a major pain though without the FD extension.
I thought we had the FD extension in the downloads area but I don't see it there now.

Thanks for your replies guys. I was also looking for the FD Extension last week and couldnt find it anywhere. If I have to, I will just have to use normal harware sprites which will limit me with what I want to do.
Anyway, thanks. Kev.

FD Extension? Are you talking about the FD builder, or something else?

I'm talking about the FD builder. You give it the FD file that describes a shared library and a slot number and it will build an extension for you.

aha, then we are in business.
You can have all the files for $1 million *does Dr Evil pose* ;)
I have it, plus loads of .fd files. I have no idea how to use it, but will try to remember to upload it all in an .lha file this weekend.

Yes we do. I doublechecked before doing anything and it is already there. The reason you couldn't find it is because it is part of the GUI 2.10 archive, in the "Tools" subfolder.
