Title: Hello From Belgium!
Post by: DiamondSoftware on July 14, 2010, 04:07:37 PM
Hi everybody!
I was a AMOSPRO programmer in 1990...1996 ; programming DIGITAL TV softwares.
I created FORUM9 software who was distributed in more than 50 TV network in europe.
Everything was made with Amiga and AMOSPRO.
Thanks Lionel for that exceptional programming tool AMOS PRO!
It's a tiem before  internet I we wer obliged to create everything: GUI, Graphic process workflow , Animation, Modem connection,
VHS and BetaMax video drive by Serial RS422 protocol, Every thing was programm in AMOSPRO  and worked perfectly.
In those time I was in relation with Lionel because my source codes was very big: More than 2Mo of Code!
Lionet was very surprised that AMOSPro accept so big source code.
I works perfectly.  Lionel was really doing a very good job! :)))
What a good time! Complex but so interesting.
Now I create made on measure softwares for the Diamond industry, It's also complex and always interesting.

I discover this forum 2 weeks ago and decide to start again working (for my pleasure) with AMOSPRO on a AMiga emulator.
All the best

Hi,
Thanks for the welcome.  ;D
I don't know if I will program again in AMOS in the future.
but first I want to test my old source codes to see how to translate them in another actual language.
Amiga virtualization use is very easy and maybe it can be interesting to create few new small softwares in AMOS.
But time fly and we have only 24H by day!  ;)
Will see!
