Title: best music player for amos
Post by: rednova on April 18, 2014, 04:56:29 PM
Dear Friends:
I would like to get a music program (for original amiga
2000) that would let me make music that I can import
into my amos pro games. What is the best music program
I can use on my amiga 2000 ?
Thank you !!!

Hi:
Nevermind !!! I just read gamemakers manual(amos)
and found out amos can convert sonix and protracker songs
into amos abk. files.
Thank you !!!

Hi rednova

I really like octamed myself, and there are some MED commands built into Amos.

Protracker is really good too, and much more useable in Amos, particularly if you use the AMCAF "pt" commands which replace the Amos "track" commands I think.

There is no need to convert to the Amos Abk format - it really a doesn't give anything extra.

Hope this helps

Hi:
Thank you for your reply !!!
yes, i also have octamed, i did not know you can use
med songs without converting to .abk files.
That will be very good for my next project !!!
Thank you !!!
