Title: Can the pspuae run cd32 games?

Hiya, complete noob here so my apologies if this has already been asked.  Can cd32 games be run on the psp? I have pspuae installed on to it but when i try to run Ultimate Body Blows iso nothing happens. Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi there

I'm sorry to say, but no...   there is no ISO support, the AGA functions (which the CD32 would need) are slow, and you cannot add the extended rom required by the CD32.

Oh thats disappointing. How about Amiga 1200 games? Those were graphically better than my Amiga 600 were they not?

Horace answered that with his previous reply.
CD32 is AGA, so although we can emulate AGA its not great (speedwise).
I could emulate CD32, but there is no point without ISO support. I think HDD is more important.

There are not many great games that are a1200 only, so you are not missing many.

If you had a A600 in the past, many A1200 games had A500/600 versions also.

Thanks for the info guys.  Apologies for not knowing that the cd32 was AGA, owned my Amiga many many years ago and also not very tech minded lol.

No need for apologies. We dont know everything, we learn new stuff about the Amiga on a daily basis.
