Title: I need sound fx for amos !!!
Post by: rednova on February 10, 2016, 11:33:51 PM
Hi all:
I have an a2000 running amospro.
I have megalosound package -never used- the sound sampler
with cable and manual. Can I use this to make sound fx for
my amiga amos games ? Do I need anything else ?

Hi! With help of the AMCAF you could use the samples in a ProTracker .mod that you may also use for the ingame music (if any).

One beautiful thing with that is that the actual samples you can sample (if needed) with just any sampler in any software on any computer, as long as you can to save or convert it as Amiga IFF 8 bit mono at recomended maximum 27930 hz that is the A03 note in ProTracker. Probably you could use a much lower sample rate also for some or all sounds if you need to reduce chip RAM requirements for the game. :-)
