Title: Amos pro - Disc Activity error
Post by: htheus on February 07, 2017, 10:17:50 AM
Hi there

I am from Zurich, Switzerland and new to this forum.

I downloaded and installed Amos Pro successfully on my A500 Harddisk partition dh2 - which has the following specs:
A500 with ECS Chips except Paula
CF Card with accelerator card aca500+
1 MB Chip Ram and 6 MB Ranger RAM

When i doubleclick the AmosPro Icon, the OS attempts to load the program. But then it crashes with the error Msg "Wait for disk activity to finish" and freezes after any interactions.

After rebooting, it shows me the Guru 80000004.

Any suggestions how to fix this?

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Kind regards, Han

If i boot with WB1.3 i get the notification, that the amos.library cannot be found. But the file has been copied into df0:libs

Where is the install disk?  I think DF0: is the only supported source of installation media for the first disk.

Sorry. I typed wrong. The library can be found on dh0:Libs

The software is installed in dh2:AMOS_pro

Do I have to write some assigns in dh0:s/user-startup?

Problem solved. Update to 2.0 did the trick...
