Well I missed out on the A1200 but got a good condition A500 with the 512k expansion.

Comes with RF modulator so I can hook it up to a telly. Joystick, mouse etc etc. Will have to grab a 2nd disk drive which I can get easily enough.

Should be fun.

Shame you missed out on that 1200, :(. This would have come in handy for you, ;).

ADF 2 FLOPPY Tansfer Kit

Could buy a catweasel Mk4, then you could have a floppy connected to it to read Amiga disks on your pc.

I am heading down that path at the moment. ie, Buying a catweasel mk4. Have to locate one in australia.

If i am correct that means I will be able to read the amiga disks and also copy my adf files onto this disk to put back into the amiga.

Ill keep my eye out for a 1200 again.

* also discovered a program called Amiga explorer which allows file transfer direct to the floppy of the amiga 500 via null modem cable. This is interesting and something I will try as its all software based. If it can write direct to the floppy this will be awesome.

Anybody tried this and have any feedback?
