Thanks for appreciating my calls. Look:

When i load your config file and insert disk a i get the following:
_______________________
Copyright blah blah...
All rights..nag nag...
Release 1.3
Unable to load ram:: Error code 212
1>
________________________

That's what i get...what are the next steps?
What i did was pressing "dir" then start ambermoon_install (i guess) and trying to install it (u said there isnt any harddiskdrive - hdd - support yet right? So, tell me your tricks how to get it starting.

just to be sure, you are loading FOL's options, reseting emulation, and then inserting the ambermoon disks right? have you checked that pspuae is changin over to those new settings (higher ram i assume? etc)

when you consider that both FOL and cmf have run it ok from disks, i can only think you've missed something.

i havent played Ambermoon either, but hearing its a lot of disks, perhaps a savestate will be in order when the new version of pspuae is released. (providing it fits in Ram)

Im alittle lost as to why your trying to install it? install it to what?

I just downloaded disk's A to J, then loaded config i posted and reset, then inserted disk A and Disk J, then it started loading fine, it then asked for disk B and loaded to menu screen fine.

I will take a look and see if its possable to make a RAM loaded save state, then all you need to do is STATES, Ambermoon and bang its loaded, ;). As I say, ill look into it though.

Can you email me your Disk A, so I can look into the error messages you get, click my name, then my email is in my profile.

Firstly, thank u all for trying to help me. I appreciate it, i really do.

Now to my problem. I know, it is harder to fail at uae on windows than on the psp with its lack of options (hdd install)...but i am failing right now.

I deleted all and everything of PSP UAE from my psp and copied a fresh UAE on it (i had the xmas version, now the 0.62 2 months after-version).
My firmware is 3.10 Oe-a and winuae should definitly work i guess.

So, but i am missing some (like 3) folders (options, states...).
What were they called again, and why weren't they included in the zip/rar i downloaded from the site.

Because of that i cannot load up your config right now, because i wouldn't recognize your file when just thrown into the mainfolder of pspuae.

Without loading your config but going on with your previous plan to set ram to 4 and so on, and resetting, i get a black screen that tries to load something (gets darker, then lighter) and the red square at the upper right corner goes on and off like crazy.

And i am unable to send you an email, because of reasons unknown. (mailer daemon)

Thanks again,

hmmmm, its clearly states that the 062 2 as you put it, is just updated eboots. install 0.62 CE, then overwrite with 0.62 2 (edited eboots).

Once thats done, put all your kicks in the kicks folder etc etc.

Now your back to a working (or should be) install of pspuae.

I think your trying to do something you shouldnt, as the problem your having sounds like the older versions that had hdd option (which didnt work). When you used HDF, it would constantly reset, over and over.

Right, can you try this version, as this is the 1 i tried (German Version),

Planet Emulation Site <------Download from here

If your still having problems, ill zip my working install up for you and you can try that.

Thanks for the offer, i think i should take that chance and try your work.
I did delete my PSP UAE Folders, put a new 0.62 CE in (with all the folders i missed), then copied the 0,62.2 over and downloaded the Ambermoon files from planetemu and put them into the disks folder and the kickstarts into their folder. I also copied the pre-configured config file into the config folder and loaded it. Then i did reset my psp uae and the error message appeared again. couldnt load ram...blabla...
Then i noticed that through the loading of this ambermoon config my amiga was with 0 fastram.
Why does it load that?
Anyways, i manually put ram to 2meg, 2meg and 1 meg, then resetted and the whole black, light screen turning started again. It is constantly trying to load something, but doesnt do anything but turn black to grey, then grey to black...

I noticed that only when i chose particular configurations (like loading standardoptions for an amiga500, or chosing to have 4megs of fastram), only then i get this nowhere going black loading screen. In other cases i get that ram related error...

What i try now is to go from here with "dir", to check out that disk i inserted and start some executables from that game..

Not a chance, it tells me right after the thalion logo, with that sprite that appears and when the intro of the game is going to be loaded,  that i do not have enaugh fast ram..etc.
yeah, tough luck, cause when i put 4megs of fastmem i cant reset cause the system wouldnt start.

Found your problem, while testing before sending to you,  ;D.

You need to put Disk J in DF1 and leave it in there, if you dont it gets to logo then crashes back to CLI
An error has occurred :

File not found.
Current file : AMBER_J:Saves

Press RETURN.

Followed by;

Longer Error and explanation of problem.

I have confirmed this 6 times and it crashes every time, but if I leave Disk J in DF1: it works everytime.

I am trying that again.
But that wouldnt solve the problem with that error i get...
1.) couldnt load ram after inserting disk a
2.) need more fast ram, but when i use 4megs fastram my system wont load

I was only using 512kb Slow and 512kb Chip, and it worked fine, odd
