Prince of Persia (RISS)
« on: June 08, 2009, 06:12:57 AM »

Now added FAME/C RISS for Prince of Persia to the downloads section.

Upon request, i would be able/willing to make a non FAME/C version to... but, those games that -do- work on FAME/C, it seems to be better to use it.

I've played this all the way through, so it is tested 100%

i admit, i used save-states to get through it, i didnt "just complete it" - i wanted to test it right though, as I found Flashback broke the other day when i played it through.

although, playing it through once, you sort of learn what you would need to do in order to complete it

The game does have its own save-routine though, although that -may- just let you restart a level.... in which case, using save-states wasnt that much of a cheat!

I also found it would sometimes lock-up on reloading certain savestates. i've seen this with a few games.

FOL, would you consider expanding the 1-5 saveslots function?   i think it should cound the number of 'numbered' states, and then always give you the option of the "next" number (which would be an empty slot)

i.e....  i have saves 1,2,3  to load from ... so i have 1,2,3,4 to save to.....  surely this could be done using a Long Number and would allow users as many savestate slots as they could fit on the memory stick, and would mean you'd never have to worry about finding an empty slot for your 3/4 saves of the same game!

I know where your coming from Horace, I wanted to make a savestate for each new level of dungeon master:

Dungeon master savestate 1= Level one

Dungeon master savestate 2= Level two

ect ect.....
