Jet-Set Willy '97 [CODE] [EXE] [DATA]
« on: August 06, 2007, 09:04:47 PM »

Any users familiar with trawling Aminet over the past ten years, may already be aware of this one.

This game is an advanced version of the ZX-Spectrum classic Jet-Set Willy, with 200 rooms.

This is not something I coded, but was the work of "Sam Becket" of the cELLbLOCK4 group. However, I was involved with the final version, (1.2) and would have been involved on any further revisions, had they happened. My part was entirely in the music department however.

Of course, being involved in the development meant i was permitted to have not only a registered version, but also the source code, which it transpires was coded in AMOS.

A recent salvage of an old Amiga hard-drive of mine, revealed this long-lost copy of the game, with keyfile (which enables game-saves) and source-code, neither of which until recently (as far as i am aware) has never been made available to the public.

The archive contains all the original files from v1.2, addiditonal music for v1.3, game keyfile and the source-code. I beleive you need a relatively adept Amiga amiga to run it, but probably not more than ECS and 2 meg available.
