Hey anyone!
A quick message to say I'm fine out here, but TV has been the same line of news for the past 3 or so weeks now... Good job I dont really watch the TV over here!
- the Earthquake hit the North-Eastern area of Japan, just above Tokyo. I'm down near Nagoya (around the center of Japan, the middle of the banana)
Being one of the worlds BIGGEST earthquakes on record, I didnt actually feel it, as I was driving at the time. - and the aftershock the next day, I also didnt feel as I was walking and talking on meh mobile.
In my area the only changes that can be seen are, Fuel prices more expensive (probably nothing to do with the earthquake, mind), crap TV (not really much of a change, its not that good in teh first place), oh, and there wasnt much food at the supermarket - compared to usual. - no rice!? That was odd...
There is also mail and news to save electricity, as blackouts in the Tokyo area are ripe, and surplus electricity from the Western provinces of Japan need to be put to their power grid
My band raised some cash and sent it to charity, and also will have an event on Monday to raise some more for the cause...
