FOL i think he said before "It is expected to arrive in the hands of the team members in January."
is not for final users - buyers..

So whats the point?
So these devs have a nice toy?

Again, it was supposed to be delivered 3 years ago. Surely they have a sorted prices etc etc.

I guess it's just to have something to show on launch day... whenever that'll be. Got told off on EAB for stating that I didn't believe they had something some moons ago :P I think they'll put a price point up once they get into negotiations about mass producing the boards. 2012 I'd say...

Hypothesis: Current scientific thought suggests we have already achieved max rocking level.

Perhaps max-rocking levels could be radically increased with creation of 30ft tall motion controlled guitar thrashing robot simulacrum.

Result: We rocked the f*ck out.

2012 I'd say...

Surely you made a mistake, ;). 2012 is when the worlds ends, its all on that film, ;).
Nah, I think you ment 2022, lol.

To be honest, I think its been organised worse than the Pandora project.
2 years on and people are still waiting for their pandora's.
Best thing is, people who already paid aint got a leg to stand on, as Paypal have a timeout to do a charge back.

I dont think is same project to Pandora.. Natami team never asking for preorder money or something else of pricing ..
Sure the project is going very slow.. seems to be not employing them time and not rush,ok, but this is not really bad.  ;)

The Pandora team had to pay back all PayPal and credit card charges since it was illegal in UK to presell and not deliver in a certain amount of time.  Those that got their Pandoras had payed with bank transfers (which I shouldn't have to say are not all that safe).

The Pandora team took preorders and the NatAmi team will not and have not taken preorders.  The only one who has paid for a NatAmi to this point is Thomas Hirsch, the lead designer.

... I'm in the same boat, FOL...  It seems pretty much EXACTLY the same thing that happened to Amiga post-the-A4000 era when Gateway took over... and then ... that company... and then ...  that guy... and then he promised stuff, never delivered... and then...

oh god, ...  please stop teh agony!

I guess the best bet now is to just get a cheap pc... which will have a HDMI port in anyways, hook it up to the tv, load it with a usb keyboard /mouse... then hook that Amiga OS to it.

- the lesson of the day is ...
... If you can't get a job done, do it yourself!
