Amos PRO wont install due to non original disk ??
« on: July 27, 2012, 07:31:02 PM »

 :-[
I got the AMOS pro download from the "Classic-AMIGA" website.
But I cant get it installed ! Ive tried it both on floppy and adf.

It complains that the disk is not original .. ?!
But I thought that AMOS Pro was freed now !
So why would they distribute a copyprotected original ?

Any help would be appreciated as Id like to try programming a little in it ... !

Hi,

Classic-AMIGA probably doesn't know there is a problem with the software.

This is a problem many people have had (see quote below), Amos Pro can be downloaded from this site, it's in the download section under development.

Available:
AMOS Professional version 1.0
AMOS Professional 1.12 Update
AMOS Professional 2.0 Update

I had issues getting AMOS Pro and V2.0 installed, as there are a number of ADFs available for download on a number of sites which have already been modified, and so won't let you install them.

SamuraiCrow gives a good tutorial on installation: In this post -> Here
