Apologies to anyone waiting for me to reply to stuff, but I've been heavily involved with the medical profession over the last couple of weeks. The intriguing quiet and speed of the CAT scanner and the ear-splitting, interminable banging and thumping of the MRI scanner (which lasts around an hour each session). The upshot is that I'll have to go into hospital on July 6th for a double fusion operation on the base of my spine. I'll be completely out of action for probably around a month at that time. In the meantime, I'm high as a kite on codeine and valium. And unlike previous problems I've had with my back, sitting is more comfortable that laying down or standing. So, when the discomfort permits, I'll be able to catch up a bit between now and then. Wish me luck!
PS. I could probably buy a nice small car with what it's going to cost!!! And that's with private health insurance.
