Major errors with timing?
« on: September 07, 2006, 04:46:24 PM »

I've been playing Lemmings 2 on the latest release, and I've noticed that the game speed can't keep up with the level timer, which makes some of the levels really difficult or impossible to save the maximum amount of lemmings. As an example, in one of the levels (Classic 4) I was only able to save about a third of the lemmings before time ran out, but I tried the same level with WinUAE and I was able to save all of the lemmings with a minute and a half left. Is there any way around this problem?

sounds like the kind of thing that might happen using Chipset CPU speed.... which is a real shame because Lemmings 1 runs great with that on!

Ummm the README doesn't really say much about the effects of using chipset CPU setting  ::)

Chipset = Amiga Custom Chipset Setting (It wont help with all games, depends on wether its CPU or Chipset intensive)
Yeah so I was supposed to know that using that setting would mess up the timing, based on that one line of information? Whatever you say, chief.

Ummm the README doesn't really say much about the effects of using chipset CPU setting, you don't have to be such a dick  ::)

Errrm, your well out of order. I didnt say you didnt read it, i said "if you hadnt". Thats a different story all together, all you had to say is, it doesnt help me the explaination of the option. I would have then explained further.

Now you have pointed out, that I missed adding to, I will correct that. I Have changed the readme some many times, it must have been over looked as I know I wrote it out somewhere.

Also you post saying theres a bug, post no details on the options your using, and then you call me names (rather un called for names)  after I reply to your post.

Please watch your language,  ::)

Plus no effence, you can do a search, ;) Link to question asking about Chipset option
