0.62 xmas edition bug - locks psp
« on: February 14, 2007, 11:19:48 PM »

Not sure if this is a known bug or not. I looked through the bugs thread and didnt see it.

When I run pspuae and put the psp into standby by quickly flicking the power button. If left in this state for an indefinate amount of time, when bringing it out of standby it re-loads the psp firmware as if it was powered off and returns to the psp main screen. This issue is that sometimes when this happens it locks the psp controls so you can not push any buttons except turn the psp off again and boot up again.

Might be normal, as alot of HomeBrew dont like being put into standby.

Your Firmware version? so i can try it.

3.03 OE-C. Was running Supremacy when it was happening with the default emulator settings.

Not sure hw long it takes to do this, atleast 20 minutes. Maybe several hours.

I have had the same problem, it almost happens everytime i go on standy-by from the pspuae menu. If i do the same thing but when a game is displayed/running, it seems to work, although i do get the keys not working sometimes. I think it is just like FOL says, most home brews dont like standy bys, but i think its also cause of the adf/state accessing it does that puts it off, as well as a few other things.
I think trying to fix this would involve alot of memory storage of what was doing what, when and how, and this would just slow the system down in the end in my opionion.
