WinUAE MMU setting
« on: November 28, 2009, 12:16:43 PM »

never late.. i have old version.. time to update?

I would say so :)
You should use the stable 1.6.1 from the WinUAE site. You can try the beta after you tested 1.6.1 for a bit.

Beta works fine for me.

Offtopic sort of: Anyone know how to disable MMU completely, i.e. emulate the CE version of  the CPU's. I really need to do a test and need MMU disabled.

Well selecting 030,040,060 shows as full mmu.

I really need to test something without mmu.

Not sure if it's even supposed to be active for 030. When you select 040 you can deselect the '68040 MMU' checkbox (which isn't enabled by default...). Honestly that would be a very valid question for Toni ;)

Hypothesis: Current scientific thought suggests we have already achieved max rocking level.

Perhaps max-rocking levels could be radically increased with creation of 30ft tall motion controlled guitar thrashing robot simulacrum.

Result: We rocked the f*ck out.

Ok, so my test may be working. So that means its all good. Will have to investigate further.
