mmm, i loved only a certain version of it, but i cant find it! lessee... the first screen was a kid on the right i think...with the menu at the left.. er.. i remember stars too. i think *scratches head*
the actual game itself had flashing colourful squares and butterfly shapes that went on a set route ..you had to collect yellow coloured diamonds and you could also build your own levels.
any ideas on where to find this? i have the floppy buried in my cupboard so i can download roms no problem. but every version of boulderdash i find is horrible o.o it has scary orange faces and not the flashing multicoloured squares XD.

also there was another game i cant remember the name of..it was these red machine things with stretchy necks and people got into their heads. they lowered their heads to the ground and people got on..and there was lightning in the intro.. uh, i think you had to wander round a..looked like the moon i think? my memory is really vague of it but i always wanted to play the full version as i only had a demo i think.
i do miss crash test dummies too lol. i also wish i could play global gladiators on pspuae, its so choppy..a few of the roms are unplayable due to choppiness but at leasy my favourites work (one-step-beyond and clik-clak <3) and i even managed to play supercars 1 which made me supremely happy!! on winuae it doesnt work, but on pspuae it does lol. weird.
so any ideas on the games? the second one is very vague but it had quite a long name. *shrugs*  no clue lol

i read in the shoutbox about space invaders extreme..i was tempted to buy it, should i? as much as i love space invaders..they BUTCHERED james pond on the ds and i nearly cried then lmao!

none of those games ring loud with me unfortunately but boulderdash was a good old retro game, so i'm suprised I havn't managed to come across a good amiga version.

As for the DS space invaders, depends what you like, I think space invaders evolution on DS is good, Space invaders extreme is for wierdo's 

here is the psp version of space invaders extreme, the DS version is almost the same!

i think the game with the lightning and the bit where the tripod bent down and things got in there heads might have been psygnosis's terrorpods.

Maybe you had one of the collection versions? have a look on www.emeraldmines.net they have just about all the originals and clones you could want, must be on there somewhere 

EDIT: A lot of these are converted from the C64.
The Amiga version was by First Star Software, and probably the one you want as this can create levels, but you can't download that one    There is a Whdload archive though, so you could put a request to see if someone can do a R.I.S.S. for you?

I've found a boulderdash II in my amiga collection, I'll see what it's like   

Just tried it and its pretty good, better than the other ones I've seen, which are obviously C64 conversions.
