good news again !!!
« on: May 18, 2009, 07:41:49 AM »

Excellent news, my amos friends:

I just got a used copy of 'mastering amiga amos' by Phil South. Is the first time ever I get to see
this book. It looks like a very interesting book to read. lots of tips ad tricks.
I guess I will spend some time reading.
Cheers!!!

Good for you Rednova!

I got some good news myself:  I contacted the author of ScrollingTrick on the Aminet and he said that I could ignore the license restriction as he now considers it public domain!  I can now proceed to wrap it in a shared library so it can be used by programs written in other languages than C and Assembly.

Of course as soon as I have the library done I can make a wrapper for AmosPro using the FD Builder or the LibCall command.  Maybe I'll even make a custom extension for it with AGA support.

This is great news !

I need to learn assembler and start making extensions. It would be great to see new Amos extensions.
