Match-It! Project
« on: November 12, 2007, 10:35:38 AM »

Hello,

Here is a new topic to follow my project (hope I'll go to the end!)
Match-it! is an old game included in an Atari sT demo called Syntax Terror. The Game was coded by NewMode.
It's a game board which is very familiar (you can find a lot fo clones even on Nintendo DS now!)

I've started to code this game 15/16 years ago with Stos. Then I'v decided to restart my project on Amiga with Amos The Creator.
For many reasons, the project has stopped (no time, no motivation, no more Amiga, etc...)

Recently, I've bought a full version of Amos Pro 2.0 with full english manual (whaouuu!) and have decided to continue my project.

Full code was imported from Amos the Creator to Amos Pro, no problem. I'm now working on the main code of this game.

I'll put as soon as possible, screenshots from original game and mine (in fact, it's stricly the same because I've ripped all gfx from Atari's version)

Original Game

Hello Rednova and thanks!

Project is going on!
I'm currently creating a sort of logical simulator for the game (tables, charts, etc...) which will allow me to calculate trajectory between tiles.
It's quiet difficult...

I've completely restarted my project because source code was very old and dirty.

For the moment, I've reworked gfx and done new banks.
Now, I'm currently trying to rewrite logical schemes for this game. Don't expect a beta version for Xmas  ::)

I've also found original source code from this game in ASM (Originally coded on Atari ST) but all comments are in German, very difficult to translate for myself.
