My lil history...
Atari 800XL from 1987 till 1992 when I sold it and bought PC 286-16, 1Mb, 40MB HDD, VGA... even though I always wanted Atari ST or Amiga...
In 1998 traded 2 CDs of N64 roms for Atari STE + monitor
Then discovered it had broken TV modulator...
Went into trash a few years ago.
Last year I finally bought A1200HD 540MB HDD with M-tek 030@28MHz turbo card and additional 4MB ram. Upgraded HDD to 4GB and CompactFlash PCMCIA card. Nice machine...
That I only recently sold. I don't have the space nor the time
From 1996 I'm in the emulation scene... those were the days when PCs weren't powerful enough to run emulators full speed. Of course that slowly changed.
I actually never owned any strictly gaming machine (SNES, PSX...) and only now considering buying PSP but mainly for emulation
Now I have two PCs and a notebook (and maybe soon an Asus Eee PC
