I for the time being enjoy pinball dreams and pinball fantasies on the SNES until I can run them a little better on PSP UAE. I was totally impressed back in the day when Pinball Dreams hit the Amiga scene, can't wait to relive it on the PSP. Until then the SNES emulator will have to suffice.

Try these games:

Streetfighter2
Super Mario World & Allstars
Zelda 3
Chrono Trigger
Gradius 3
Flashback

hehe - the only really good game in the list  :P and it's an amiga game..... he's supposed to have a fxxxing WHITE SHIRT!!!!

i play it on DGen instead.... sorry - but i really hate the SNES.... nothing personal!

....  you need slapping around for comments like that....  seriously!  ...  each one of them games was a classic in their own right  8) - ESPECIALLY Chrono Trigger!

Super Star Wars (series)

i didnt really like this - was quite disapointed after playing the previous similar Star Wars games on the GameBoy and MasterSystem. (i suspect the NES version is the same)

I wasnt too keen on Super Star Wars, but Super Return of the Jedi however...  I was stuck to that and had it completed...

I dont quite understand HOW you can hate the snes though, its like an Amiga thats focused on games and not both things... and as it is so, the graphics are slightly superior....  Amiga you can do everything though - including programming ;)  -and the demo scene etc....

i just dont like the games, and the way they handle. sorry! (btw-  thats the first time i have ever apologised for my dislike of it.... count yourself lucky mush!)

i have nothing against the machine's spec. or anything - i just think that all of the good games for it are on the amiga, and are far superior on the miggy - especially when you use whdload. i dont like mario, and i dont like "that" type of RPG!

even with simple stuff like multiple buttons... i like using up to jump dammit!!

graphics superior than my a1200?? lmao - get bent!

The SNES had many more games that utilized 256 (in game) colors, whereas Amiga gmaes 64 color games dominated the actual gameplay. the SNES however had a underpowered CPU and many games took a framerate hit. Some games did look better, and play just as well. Desert Strike and Pinball Fantasies to name a couple. I would not have admitted to this back in the day when I owned an A1200, but then again I would not admit that the 3do blew away the CD32. There was games that was ported to Genesis and SNES that could not hold a candle to the Amiga, Sword of Sodan and Shadow of the Beast come to mind.  I had high hopes for AGA but there was not that many games IMO that really took advantage of what the chipset had to offer before the Amigas downfall.  I do play quite a few games on the PSP SNES Emu as it runs faster and the sound is spot on for the most part. I CAN"T WAIT until I can do the same with PSPUAE.

Easy guys. EVEN though im an Amiga NUT, i have owned alot of systems over the years. IMHO only good game on SNES was StarFox, never liked any other games. So lets chill, in the knowledge that i even owned an Atari ST at some point.

i much prefer the MegaDrive to the SNES as well.

trekster: i never owned a snes at the time, so never had that "which was better" thing at the time... its only something ive tried since getting into emulation/retro-gaming - it was the system i was most disapointed with that i tried.

and i take back my apology for not liking it... i can do what i like.. heh
