« on: October 20, 2006, 01:15:58 AM »

Hi all,

Do you remember this software company?

well if you visit their web page at:

www.cinemaware.com

and register your details, just follow the link to 'The Vault' and all their Amiga collection is free for download and ready to run on your pspaue.

I've tried must of them in the with version 0.55 on a psp 2.60 firmware

Cheers!

Aye, they have had this for years. Nice to see atleast 1 old company letting people download the old classics.

Spent hours playing this game, almost finished it once. I would play it again, but ain got no printer and cant be bothered messing around to try and print off the code sheet. Very effective copy protection that was, apart from it could be photo copied easy.

whdload installers  remove all forms of copy protection.

although i havent tried it, if it doesnt ctually remove it, then the codes are definately included with it.

http://www.whdload.de/games/RocketRanger.html

"on one" indeed. sheesh. thought it was common knowledge. jsut trying to give ye another game to play again.

edit: it would appear "tab" brings up the codes on screen when using the whdload installed version.

For rocket ranger, you still need the destination wheel in order to play, otherwise you won't be able to travel from place to place. However, if you download the adf from the cinemaware page, the codes are included in the zip file. you just need to print them and play.

RR still has one of the best endings I've ever seen, worth the effort if you can do it.

Never got to the end, spent ages playing it, got almost the end, then stupidly entered the wrong amount off the code sheet, lol.

Rocket Ranger- I thought this game was stupid- but probably cos I didnt realise this game had a code protection so I never got anywhere  :'(

ICFTD / Wings were hella cool though ;-)  the ambience in these games really set the scene!
