PSPUAE beta Testers - unrelated replies

Alot of you look like good candidates, but it makes me wonder why most of you haven't ever been to the site before.

A fair observation based on most of our post counts - I have been here a number of times before, but have never needed to be registered for any reason before yesterday.

Most updates/progress reports/downloads are posted over at the DCEMU site so I only come along here if things have been quiet for a while!

indeed, its not a problem, im the same, if i dont need to register then I wont, unless something needs to be said or done, ;).

I agree with skate, there are alot of good potential testers here.

4. My knwolage of amiga and psps are very good and i can do about anything on either of the consoles.

But, but, but, but the Amiga is not a console. Sorry to be pedantic but Jim Miner lobbied Commodore for a long time to class the Amiga as a full blown computer instead of a games machine. He failed and Commodore eventually died.

with all these "good reasons why I should be become a beta testers" ...  I think a lot of people neglect to write the most important part of beta testing in these conditions...  its basically being able to become part of a community, which most of the people who have applied seemed to have missed out all together, mostly even just posting once in this thread.

its a shame  :'(

Well you cant really say that is true, you dont have to register to be part of the community, as you can search and find most of the answers. Most will register just to ask a question or for help, which is fair enough.

Emu, things are in the works, to improve the site and the pspuae community at the moment, so stand by.

send me whit pm .. evrything about new PSPUAE beta program to test
i thing all we want to be betatester..
 ::)

lol, well cant have everyone as a betatester. Simple reason being, alot of versions would end up popping up every where. This doesnt help anyone, as it would cause mass confusion. This is  because there are a few versions of the current beta, i.e. Kernel Mode, User Mode, FAME C Core, Standard Core, and im damn sure a HD version will appear soon. All these would need to be tested etc etc. then brought together once the time comes for release's.

what is the point of pushing the emulator farther without hard disk image support?
I use a hard disk file on my pocket pc all day long, why can't you guys pull it off?

i have an amiga 3000 and 500 sitting here as well.

@fueriose
Did you come on here to be considered as a beta tester, cause if you did, you dont have my vote.

Sigh, and so it starts.

Beginning to think this was a bad idea. Obviously you have no clue, POCKET PC version sucks, its the worse UAE port I have seen, why simple, its never updated anymore, it uses a very early UAE.

This thread is for beta testers, if you dont intend on wanting to be a Beta Tester, DONT BOTHER POSTING. We want HD support and its being worked on, I have been messing with trying to get it working, and even had a chat with Ric last night. If you think its that easy, download the source and do it yourself.

1 Last point, you obviously dont bother reading, below is taken from the 0.63 Progress Post, which is from here and many other forums. After posting, GnoStiC said he would work with me to get it working.

"I am working on HD support again. Im also working on giving site a make over (Workbench style), as well as updating and adding new Save States (designed do run with current release). So as you can see its still on going here, behind the scenes."

This is beginning to go off topic, STICK TO TOPIC.

I've been here before, too, with no need to register.  I get all of my updates from QJ.NET.  :)

You know I'm in.

Can't wait to test FOL's latest beta.  ;D

The HD Support rumor looks legit now too, which is more the reason to apply.

Use A1200 most of the time on PSPUAE because of R.I.S.S.
