Eboots normally have 2 pics, 1 background and 1 foreground pic, as well as 1 Music file.
First we will look at what is required;
For Picture Requirements
-----------------------------
1) Your favorite pic editing program.
2) PSPBrew 0.91, which can be found in our Downloads Section.
3) Custom EBOOT Package, which can be found in our Downloads Section.
For Music Requirments
--------------------------
1) GoldWave 5.18 (
GoldWave Homepage).
2) Atrac3.zip (
freecodecs.com).
3) GWAT 3, which can be found in our Downloads Section.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, thats that sorted, lets get to the pics,
Extract the Custom EBOOT Package to your desired location, then open the folder. Inside you will find, 2 template files (based on Gem]n['s PSX templates, over at maxconsole). We first want to open the EBOOT_ICON0_Template file (its in .psd format, which should'nt matter).
This will be our ICON0, the Foreground Small Pic. Once you have edited it to suit your needs save it as a .PNG file (this is important).
We now want to open the EBOOT_PIC1_Template file (its in .psd format, which should'nt matter).
This will be our PIC1. the Background Big pic. Once you have edited it to suit your needs save it as a .PNG file (this is important).
Now that those are saved, you can either leave it without music and use PSPBrew to add pics to the %__SCE__PSPUAE/EBOOT.PBP file (PSPUAE/EBOOT.PBP on other Firmware's).
Load PSPBREW 0.91, (Although the pic below is 0.80 version, we are using the same functions in 0.91).
1) Click Load PBP (1), then select your .PBP file (i.e. %__SCE__PSPUAE/EBOOT.PBP or PSPUAE/EBOOT.PBP).
2) Once Loaded, click Background Image PIC1.PNG (2) and select your PIC1.PNG file.
3) Next click Main Icon ICON0.PNG (3) and select your ICON0.PNG file.
4) (Do this step ONLY if your going to add Music else ignore it). Next click Background Music SND0.AT3 (4) and select your SND0.AT3 file.
(You can Preview the EBOOT pics, by clicking "Preview PBP", click the PSP power button to close preview. See pic below).
5) Once that is done, your ready to save your edited EBOOT.PBP. Click Save PBP (5) and save it as the file you opened overwriting old 1. Thats it your done.
, click Exit (6) to shut down PSPBREW.

Creating EBOOT Atrac file (SND0.AT3)
--------------------------------------------
Once Goldwave and atrac3 are installed and GWAT 3 extracted to your desired location, you are ready to start.
If you dont install Lame.dll through the installer, dump it in the sytem32 folder of windows.
Now start GoldWave, once in there, open the required Audio File. Now trim it, to where you want to loop it.
Now click save as, and select type as WAV and Compression as ATRAC3 132kbps. Once it is saved to your desired location, check it isnt over 500kb (this is very important, or the sound / loop will not play). You might have to trim it further until its under 500kb. One you have it right, close GoldWave.
Now open, GWAT3 and launch it. Once loaded, drag and drop your sound / loop file to the window. Now click start, it will then add the loop data and create a file (Looped_yourfile.at3).
Thats it, this file will add to the eboot of your choice fine.
Here's the finished EBOOT in action (minus music)
