hm? worked first time in color, and later not?? dunno really what happen ..
If you know less about electronics .. open it and check if has some unstack connection leads or somthing..
other one.. this converter is realy cheap and nice, but has problem temp after hours works,so need some cooling in to the central video CPU.

My hade-made cooling..

Nope it hasn't worked in colour at all through the vga box (I tested my cd32 on another tv without the box just to see that the s-video was ok on my machine).

I noticed my vga box I've got looks lslightly different to yours though(and isnt quite the same as the image from where I purchased it)?

On yours the video connection on the left is yellow but on mine its some strange connection I've not seen before?

Yeah its the exact same model going from all the pictures, instuctions, OSD and all the leads etc.

The only difference is that connection on the left is different (see my previous post) to what the product I ordered from from ebay?

Here's what it should have looked like going from the ebay listing:

and again heres what I actualy got in the post (I only took a pic of the vga box as this was the only thing that looked different)..

I've just emailed the seller (from ebay) to say about my black and white issue... but also to state that what I've recived is actulay different to what I purchased. ...fingers crossed they'll exchange it to the exact model as the one you've got (and the model that I should have recived).

Poo!  >:(

Yeah I agree... although the seller is still saying I've got the right convertor even though its clearly different with that RCA plug?

I don't even know what that connection is on the unit I recieved? lol ...although my box and instuctions are corrrect?  ::)

Thanks for your assistance though Anemos... I'll let you know how things go. :)

You need more test on other monitor, and s-video input coming from other console - camera ect..
but think is not same converter like mine.

so.. Amiga is easy to connecting via cables with that 2 deferents converters ,the dificult is the Atari ,that needed some extra resistors on the RGB signal to working.
for ZX+3 is more difficult because has a "less"  signal than Amiga and Atari.. and not H & V sinc, has only Csync.
i keep working on ZX+3 ..

Any progress about connecting the Spectrum +3 from RGB to VGA?

I have a VGA BOX just like yours and connected my +3 to an LCD by composite video VGA BOX but the results aren´t so good so I want to try the RGB option.

I read somewhere that it could be doing by connecting the RGB r,g,b and 0v outputs directly to VGA r,g,b and 0v inputs and connecting the RGB Csync output to VGA Hsync input..
Does anybody can confirm it´s the right way to do it or there is another way ?

Best way for montels 128+,+2,+3 is via scart connecting on LCD or CRT tv,s,you can also connect via RGB on 1084s Amiga monitors (like me,has best screen)
or any multi sync 15~31KH monitors.
