an icon bank
« on: August 24, 2007, 11:23:50 PM »

Friends:

In my wizard game...I used icons for each room that you visit..Loading each icon one at a time. There are probably like 45 icons. Is it possible to put all icons in a bank...Then only load the bank one time...and then  select each icon from the bank one at a time?
Thank you!!!

Only if you can fit them all into CHIP memory at once.  Loading an entire room image sounds like it would be better accomplished using the Amos image packer which, incidently, works on icons as well, IIRC.
