Man, it's been a good many years since I used AMOS, but in a fit of nostalgia I just bought an A1200 and a bunch of assorted gubbins and decided to turn my hand to cranking out some code. I've been doing most of it in C, but when I needed to do some rapid prototyping of some ideas I turned to AMOS -- it may not be all that fast when it's running, but when it comes to writing some quick and dirty code to test a theory it's a lot easier -- and fell back in love with it again despite its many weaknesses and oddities. Getting to grips with it again has been a great walk down memory lane, and I'm in the middle of recreating (and finally finishing!) the AMOS game I started 15 years ago.
