Amos Factory merging with host network
« on: February 20, 2011, 09:01:41 PM »

After discussing it with all site admins.
It has been decided that Amos Factory will merge with the host Network site Ultimate Amiga.

You will find a whole forum section for AmosFactory. That section will also be Amos themed.
So if you see the site alter, please dont freak out. Its not you :).

The following URL's can be used to access Amos Factory;
http://amos.ultimateamiga.co.uk,

Below addresses need time to align;
http://amos.ultimateamiga.com,
http://amos.ultimateamiga.info,
http://amos.ultimateamiga.org,
http://amos.pspuae.com

THose of you *not* part of AMOS Factory, please give us a few days, and I'm sure we'll have a mixture of recent posts / News etc both AMOS and non-AMOS related.  8)

I'm afraid the new site becoming 'priority' on the front page is a side-effect of every merge!

you'll have to be a bit more specific about what you want. a return to the "old style" isnt possible, and every effort has been made to keep everything that was there before still here.

So please only change the colors..
The dark background and bright letters are the fastest way to hurt our eyes, it should be inverted :o

hi Selur

"Light colour themes" are on the to-do list, but at the moment, we can only work from the darker ones i'm afraid - sadly this is not a 2 minutes fix, and the current one is in use in order to be in-line with the Ultimate Amiga site as a whole. We have been getting by without any bleeding eyes for a while now, so i'm sure you'll get used to it :)

Changing over to a standard already-available light-theme would break much of the site in other areas because these themes have a few customisations on them. I will keep you all posted though when a light version of this layout becomes available!

Amos Factory Downloads, will also follow.
Myself and Horace spent atleast 2 to 3 hours sorting this all out.

I went to bed at 2:30am, feeling rather tired now, ;).
This left little time for sorting downloads.

Horace I understand, so we will wait for more changes.

Booboo it's good idea! I've heard that STOS is some kind of Atari ST prequel oo Amiga AMOS.
I wonder how it works and what are the differences in STOS/AMOS ::)

Does this include all files attached to posts? Specifically the ones from the "AMOS Submissions" forum where I uploaded 20 or so extensions (which nobody moved to the downloads section), plus my Extension Examiner and MMR programs.
Hungry Horace uploaded a few files, which seem to be missing too :(
