Hi Don,

i guess you don't have kick.rom files in the KICKS directory? You need at least one, say kick13.rom for instance.

cheers, Dan

Hi Dan

I'm sure I've got the right kick roms in (well hopefully) and have named it kick13, its like I cant see any of the games!! so how do you select a game.  I'll have another play around with it and see.

Cheers

Huh?
can't see the games? are they adf files (no zips) and in the subfolder DISKS? (I think PSPUAE can't go up in the folder structure, so they have to be in the folder DISKS). If everything is right, you just insert an adf file in a floppy drive, and off you go...

Or maybe you try to load some of the RISS states of this site here? They have to be in the subfolder STATE.

Hope this helps,
Dan

PSPUAE can browse different folders. It just defaults on first select to the correct folders (i.e. DISKS).

Which version are you trying to run DonAmiga?
Are you using a 256kb 1.3? Try the 512kb 1.3rom.
Try deleting it and only have kick31.rom in the dir. PSPUAE should search for any other rom if it cant find 1.3.

It does sound like a kickstart issue.
In current beta I have fixed the error message system. It tells you what the error is.

Hi Guys, got it working  ;D I hadn't named the rom's properly, (kickstart13.rom should have been kick13.rom) that typical, me at my best  :) always the simple things. Had batman the movie running  :) was trying to run treasure island dizzy, but failed to load  :(

Thanks for all the help :) still need to look into getting other retro stuff on it.

Also I see under the Group Content, other formats, will pspuae play other formats?

Cheers

So does it play these?

Hi

When you first hover over PSPuae it automatically changes the screen to the first screen with A500, computer and the small window with A600 boot screen (disk moving in).  Ok then a option box with a the triangle button flashes up.  So hit the triangle button and a information screen comes in from the right with (start, internet search, delete, information) and at the Top, Group Content, select, then select By Format, it then shows the list of formats (psp, mims, playstation, pcengine, neogeo)

Cheers

Don

ps, Have ordered a pandora battery and magic memory kit.  :)

Ah now Im with you, the PSP in general.

Yes you can use those formats.
For Playstion One, have a search round here for a guide on how to create PSone iso's from your own PSone discs.
Or you could buy them from the PSN store.

Aint tried NeoGeo and others though.

Will have to look later, It was from around 2007 when DarkAlex cracked the PSOne emu so you could make your own custom PSOne installs.
It was released Christmas Day around 7PM, :).
