The AMOS Factory Landing Page -> Here provides Image-links to PDF downloads of some of the manuals. Users should know that you must be registered and logged in to download the PDF manuals.

News Brief :
The remit of the News Brief will will be to inform users of project updates/releases, new projects, generate interest in these projects by listing them in the news brief and highlight site related or other business that users should be aware of.

In general the News Brief will be posted weekly. If it is considered that there is not enough news to justify an update, the News Brief will be postponed until the following week.

I understand that Project Leads/Teams may not want their projects listed until they reach a certain stage. In that respect could Project Leads/Teams please drop a comment in the current News Brief indicating that the project is to be listed in the News Brief, or stop being listed if the project is taking a holiday.

For future reference:

Please note the News Brief is for Ultimate Amiga news / projects and related projects present on the forums.

There will be additional sections in future News Briefs on an as and when needed basis. One example is the "Help Wanted Section", other Briefs can be added by request.

Here's a sample of what the help wanted section could contain.

The-Project-Name :
The-Project-Lead is looking for developers to work on coding the following areas of the game -
[Item-List of target code environments]
e.g.
  • shortest path algorithm and code
  • Collision detection
  • Fog of War

Also required are concept artists, sprite artists and animators for the following graphics needs.
[Item-List of target graphic environments]
e.g.
  • Main Charachter(s)
  • Enemies

  • Storyboarding

The-Project-Name :
