Can you please update the AIAB pack with the latest WHDLOAD http://www.whdload.de/
Basically anyone can use the latest version, however some games require you actually buy whdload and won't work, but most of the time unregistered users just get a nag screen :p. All that needs to be done is ( for windows users )

1) Unpack/unzip whdload
2) Make sure that WHDLOAD.info is copied or placed into \Winuae\Harddrives\Workbench
3) Open the unpacked directory whdload and copy ->  C\S\DOCS folder, the DOCS.INFO, install and install.info into \Winuae\Harddrives\Workbench. Yes to overwrite the other folders
4) - Registered users only -, copy the WHDLOAD.key into \Winuae\Harddrives\Workbench\C

Cheers for the your install guide.

As for updates, until we get permission to distribute components (especially commercial ones) within the AIAB package, there wont' be new update packages. We are working on it though. ;)

Have you tried contacting the owner of WHDLOAD?

I thought whdload was freely available *unregistered* but when you load games you get a nag screen comes up that recommends you buy a key to get rid of it and some games don't work at all needs ver 17 for example.

The vast majority of these freely available *unregistered* commercial packages do allow redistribution, but only in their original packaged form.

To strip out the files and combine them with some other distribution, even in an unregistered form, is rarely allowed.

WHDLoad devs might allow it, but it is always prudent to ask permission first.

Bert already gave us permission to distribute it.
So aslong as the whole package is included, it should'nt be a problem.

I take that permission wasn't specific to AIAB.

For use here, if I recall. As we were including it in PSPUAE Save States.
