Amos Interface enhancement
« on: May 11, 2013, 05:47:01 PM »

Another quick hack to fix something that's always irritated me in the AmosPro Interface.  When you click on a button in a dialogue box, although nothing happens until you release the mouse button, there's no last chance to change your mind by moving the pointer away from the button before releasing.  Once the button is pressed, it's pressed.  It's not really a bug as such but it's contrary to the convention in every GUI I've ever used - whether it be Workbench, Windows or KDE.  Here's a replacement amospro.lib that changes it.  My edits in the source are prefixed by "*** edit".

[Update] I've made one more tiny change that hugely improves the editor and file selector - namely making vertical slide bars update text in real time.

if you are working on the FileSelector etc, how about fixing the "/" as "parent" bug...

Great work James. Maybe you could take a look at the Limit Mouse bug? ;)

(I planned to do that myself, but have been sidetracked...)
