XAMOS run problem

Hi there, I am an ex-Amiga, Comal and AMOS user. Yesterday I install Amiga Forever 2014 Plus version. And just install XAMOS (Windows 7 Pro. x64, Intel i7 computer). I place XAMOS in the Programs (x86) folder. At first I got an error message about missing MSVCR71.dll. Downloaded, then place both dll's in Windows/SystemWOW64 folder. Ok. Then I get a message about a missing libstdc++6.dll. I was not sure where to place this .dll, so i placed in the XAMOS root diectory. Now I get a 0xc000007b message.

Hi Ken. Did you get this to work in the end? I'm considering rebuilding the source with Visual Studio since I can't get it to work either. Seems like no development has been done on XAMOS for a long time too which is a real shame. Anyway, I have no idea where libstdc++-6.dll can be found.. Probably a DLL from the MinGW compiler runtime environment??

LibStdC++ is the C++ runtime library used by GCC.

If you want to continue the development of XAMOS, Mequa has passed away some time ago.  Hopefully the source is well documented.

Thanks for sharing. That is really sad news. I just tried sending him a PM last night asking about his future plans and I had no idea.

I would be tempted in further progressing it but I do have a major tracker project on the go that's been severely time consuming. I will have a dabble though. Who knows. The thought of cross platform AMOS without being constrained by an Amiga emulator really interests me. I know there's Darkbasic and others out there but there's always the nostalgia element.
